A. The Brother MFC-J6945DW is capable of printing in A4,A5 & A6. However the Brother MFC-J6945DW is only capable of copying in A4 & A5 sizes.

Q. Brother MFC-J6945DW Does this print scan A4 as well or only A3?

A. The Brother MFC-J6945DW is capable of printing and scanning in A4 as well as A3 media sizes.

Q. I want to print booklets from A4 original documents on A3 paper producing A4 booklets. My current Brother printer demands 22mm margin which makes a mess of the booklet layout. Is this still the case on the MFC-J6945DW?

A. When printing on normal A3 media the Brother MFC-J6945DW features a print margin of 3mm on the top, bottom, left and right side of the page. This printer also supports various booklet printing methods. Instructions on booklet printing and the various method supported are available within the printers user guide.

Q. What are the enlarging capabilities of the J6945DW please

A. The Brother MFC-J6945DW has reduce/enlarge capabilities of 25-400%.

Q. Brother MFC-J6945DW Can you clarify whether this unit does double-sided automatic scanning of documents loaded into the ADF since the Brother website says Automatic 2-sided A3 print scan and copy but an answer on your website states Single sided scanning is available via the 50 sheet ADF ? I'm not too fussed whether this is a single or double-pass process as long as it is automatic i.e. I don't want to have to reload the originals into the ADF in order to complete the scanning.

A. Hi Phil, The Brother MFC-J6945DW is capable of automatic double-sided scanning up to a maximum scan size of A3 via the 50 Sheet ADF. Kind Regards

Q. What is the scan resolution using the flatbed? Can you do duplex scanning on the ADF and is it single pass duplex scanning?

A. Hi Andrew, The scan resolution using the flatbed is up to a maximum of 19,200 x 19,200 dpi using interpolation scan. Single sided scanning is available via the 50 sheet ADF.

Q. Does the MFC-J6945DW come c/w starter ink in the box, or does ink need to be purchased in 'a bundle'?

A. The Brother MFC-J6945DW ships with starter toner in the box ready to go; 3000 pages in black and 1,500 pages in cyan, magenta and yellow. The bundle options provide you with toner in addition to the starter set at a reduced cost to purchasing them separately at a later date.

Q. I am looking at the brother range of multi function printers. I need to be able to print and scan in A3. Do any of the brother models have a full size A3 drawer, rather than a standard one with the additional fold out support. Many Thanks. Chris
