    What is AirPrint?

    Apple AirPrint allows full colour, top-quality printing from iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads directly from within many Apps available from the Apple App Store.

    To take advantage of AirPrint, your compatible printer must be connected to the same wireless network as your iOS device or Mac computer.

    AirPrint enables users to print wirelessly from within applications on Apple devices to AirPrint Compatible Printers connected to a wireless network. You can use your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to easily print via Airprint without the need to install drivers or configure the printer queue. Just tap 'print' and select your AirPrint compatible printer, and print!....It's that simple.

    What You See is What You Print

    If you can open it on your apple device, chances are you can print it with AirPrint and an AirPrint compatible printer. Airprint works with Safari, Mail, Photos, iWork, PDF's in iBooks and many third-party AirPrint compatible apps available from the app store.

    There are also a wide variety of third-party apps available to enable wireless printing through Apple devices, even to machines that are not natively AirPrint compatible printers. Yes, the Kyocera ECOSYS M5526cdw is capable of scanning single-page or multi-page PDF's as and when required. All scan features can be accessed via the printers control panel, where you can select options such as single, or multi page documents.

A. Yes, the Kyocera ECOSYS M5526cdw supports label media types via the multipurpose tray.
Q. i have a SAMSUNG GALAXY BOOK PRO 360 and i want to know if this is utterly totally and completely compatible with the KYOCERA ECOSYS M5526cdw multifunction colour laser printer?
A. The Kyocera ECOSYS M5526cdw is Mopria Certified, so if your Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 is compatible with this app (Mopria Print is often pre-installed onto most Android devices), then it will be compatible with the printer.
Q. Is this printer fully Mac OSX compatible ? I previously bought a Samsung MFD and that wasn't fully compatible
A. The Kyocera ECOSYS M5526cdw is compatible with Mac OS X Version 10.8 to 11.01 (Big Sur).
Q. How many extra memory slots are there to increase the memory size?
A. As standard the Kyocera ECOSYS M5526cdw features 512MB of memory but this can be increased to a maximum of 1,536MB with two additional 512MB Memory Cards.
Q. Does this printer as advertised do double sided scanning? - if not can you recommend a printer with similar print costs that does
A. The Kyocera ECOSYS M5526cdw is capable of double-sided scanning via the 50-sheet duplex automatic document feeder.
Q. If one of the colour cartridges needs replacing do they all have to be replaced? Given the cost of the cartridges it is daft if that is the case. When printing black does the printer only use the back toner or a mixture of the colour toners? Not entirely clear if the printer can handler transparencies well or not.
A. Yes, the Kyocera ECOSYS M5526cdw features a run black mode which can be selected in the driver settings. This enables the printer to continue printing in mono if the colour toner cartridges are empty. It is also capable of handling transparencies such as OHP Film (up to 220gsm) via the multipurpose tray.
Q. Please tell me what thickness of card I can print on to make greeting cards without getting the card stuck in the printer, Thanks, Sandy
A. The maximum paper weight compatibility of the Kyocera ECOSYS M5526cdw is 220gsm.

Looking for a small office laser printer? top scrolling and buy this one

Great printer
Printer was easy to setup and works well. It comes with a great user manual which I consulted a few times as there are plenty of features which I didn't encounter before. There are two aspects which need improvement Quality when copying The copy function unfortunately does not replicate finer lighter details. I've played around with the settings but have not managed to improve the result. Scanning a document preserves all details though. Printing photos Quality is decent but not as good as my old inkjet printer. When looking at pictures closely you can see a fine dot matrix and the colours are not as vibrant as from the inkjet printer. The printer runs out of memory when printing an A4 picture in highest quality memory extension required

Kyocera M55526cdw
Decided to consider the Kyocera Ecosys M5526cdw due to good experience of Kyocera machines at a previous place of work. Although this machine is used in a home environment the features cost of the unit and also running costs determined my choice. Although have only had the MFD a number of weeks I have been pleased with the ease of setup and quality of the printed output and the ease of scanning either to jpg or PDF. Full marks to Kyocera and also Printerland who expedited delivery within days and also assisting in registering the warranty after I had a few problems.

Excellent printer and customer service
I ordered the wrong printer first time around by mistake so I returned it unopened and Printerland refunded very promptly. Second time around bought this printer and I can t fault the quality of the printer or the customer service. Printing and scanning all works flawlessly. Many thanks Only suggestion is that it would help to have photos of the printers in an office context to get a better idea of size. Some of the lasers are quite big and while dimensions are provided a photo would really help.
