It supports the following media types: Plain Paper, Recycled Paper, Bond, Envelopes, Rough Envelopes, Letterhead, Pre-Printed, Coloured Paper, Light Paper, Heavy Paper and Rough Cotton. The Xerox B310 is a single function laser printer, so it only has the ability to print. It's multifunction equivalent, would be the Xerox B305, which features similar printing specifications, but also features the ability to scan and copy.

The toner cartridges are made of powder rather than liquid so do not risk drying out.
The toner cartridges should easily last over a year between prints provided the printer is stored in suitable conditions.
