What is Double-Sided Scanning?

Whereas as a single-sided scanner requires the user to manually flip the document to achieve double-sided scanning, double sided scanner printers can automatically scan both sides of a document by reversing the page for scanning both sides of the document in one motion or in some cases duplex scanning can be performed in a single pass, making scanning 2-sided documents even quicker.

These methods are performed via either an RADF (reverse automatic document feeder) or a DADF (duplex automatic document feeder).
