Q.
Hi
As part of our accounting procedures we have to print off 4 A4 sheets of different colours for sending to different departments. Our present printer does this by us feeding 2 different colour A4 sheets into a manual bypass feed. It appears that the Xerox WorkCentre 3335DNi would be capable of doing this via the 50 sheet bypass tray.
Would you be able to confirm this?
Thank you.
A.
Yes, the Xerox WorkCentre 3335DNi supports coloured paper up to 220gsm via the Bypass tray. As long as the media weights don't exceed 220gsm, you should be able to feed various colour sheets in via the bypass tray.
Q.
Does the scanner function allow pages to be scanned in colour or just black and white or greyscale?
A.
Yes, the Xerox WorkCentre 3335DNi is able to scan documents in colour, but it can only print and copy in black and white.
Q.
Can the scanner do duplex scanning with the documents loaded in the ADF? If so is this immediate duplex scanning, or is scanning in duplex achieved by running the pages back through the scanning unit twice?
A.
The Xerox Workcentre 3335DNi is not capable of double-sided automatic scanning.
However, the Xerox WorkCentre 3345DNi is capable of automatic double-sided scanning.
Q.
Does this printer come with a Black Toner Cartridge? If so, how many pages can be printed?
A.
The Xerox WorkCentre 3335DNi is shipped with a Black Toner Cartridge (2,600 Pages).
Page yields are declared by the manufacturer in accordance with ISO/IEC standards or occasionally estimated based on 5% coverage. Yield will vary greatly depending on image, area coverage, print mode and environmental conditions.

Q.
Can the Xerox 3335DNI scanner be used to scan photographs of high quality for banners etc?
A.
The Xerox WorkCentre 3335DNi is capable of scanning images at an enhanced resolution up to 4,800 x 4,800 dpi which would be great for scanning photos. This can be done via the flatbed scanner to achieve the highest quality.
Q.
What is the machine like for printing on label stock?
A.
The Xerox WorkCentre 3335DNi handles labels well; they must be printed from the bypass tray. Full guidelines for printing labels can be found from Page 78 of the user guide.
Q.
Can I use this as a simple stand-alone photocopier. Just put a piece of paper on the flatbed, press a button, and get a copy?

Yes, the Xerox WorkCentre 3335DNi can be used as a stand alone copier.
