    What is AirPrint?

    Apple AirPrint allows full colour, top-quality printing from iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads directly from within many Apps available from the Apple App Store.

    To take advantage of AirPrint, your compatible printer must be connected to the same wireless network as your iOS device or Mac computer.

    AirPrint enables users to print wirelessly from within applications on Apple devices to AirPrint Compatible Printers connected to a wireless network. You can use your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to easily print via Airprint without the need to install drivers or configure the printer queue. Just tap 'print' and select your AirPrint compatible printer, and print!....It's that simple.

    What You See is What You Print

    If you can open it on your apple device, chances are you can print it with AirPrint and an AirPrint compatible printer. Airprint works with Safari, Mail, Photos, iWork, PDF's in iBooks and many third-party AirPrint compatible apps available from the app store.

    Third-Party Apps

    There are also a wide variety of third-party apps available to enable wireless printing through Apple devices, even to machines that are not natively AirPrint compatible printers. By sharing a printer installed on an Apple Mac or Windows Pc over a wireless network any printer may be able to take advantage of the AirPrint features. (An additional third-party app may be required to be installed on the local machine)

The Xerox VersaLink C7000DN is compatible with Apple AirPrint and the Mopria Print Service, so when connected to the same network as your Apple or Android mobile devices, you can print from your mobile via these methods. The printer is also filled with Xerox ConnectKey Technology and features a 5-Inch Colour Touch Screen, with an app-like interface. Here, you can tailor the printers functionality to your specific printing requirements with IT management software and productivity boosting apps. Q. can you print on 12x12 inch paper? is this printer suitable for printing scrapbooking design papers? can it print on the linen finish cardstock?? Thank you for your help.
A. The Xerox VersaLink C7000DN is capable of printing onto custom sizes from as small as 88.9 x 98.4 mm to a maximum of 297 x 431.8 mm so unfortunately 12 x 12 inch media would be slightly too wide. This printer is able to handle the following media types: Bond, Plain Paper, Cardstock, Hole Punched, Labels, Letterhead, Glossy Cardstock, Heavyweight Cardstock, Pre-Printed and Recycled.
Q. Can this printer be loaded with A4 and A3 paper and automatically choose the appropriate size?
A. The Xerox VersaLink C7000dn features a 520 Sheet Tray and a 100 Sheet Bypass Tray as standard. Both trays can be filled with different media sizes and you are also able to select which tray you would like to print from through the printers driver settings.
Q. Hi, Can you please confirm the difference between buying (1) just the Xerox VersaLink C7000dn printer; (2) the Wireless Bundle; and (3) the 'page pack'? There is a difference between the prices but it is not clear what you get as part of each package. Thanks.
A. The C7000dn is configured with Duplex (Double-sided printing) and network connectivity as standard. The wireless bundle adds a Xerox wireless networking device to enable wireless connectivity to your router. The PagePack option provides a subscription payment plan (similar to a mobile phone contract), where you pay a fixed cost per page and consumables are delivered to you as and when you need them. PagePack also provides support for maintenance, to limit any downtime and loss in productivity.
Q. What is the maximum recommended weight of stock you can print on? Thanks.
A. Hi, the Xerox VersaLink C7000dn can take a maximum media weight of 256gsm.
Q. Can the printer turn a3 paper into a4 booklets?
A. The Xerox VersaLink C7000dn includes a 'Booklet Creation' feature within the driver which will be able to print an A4 booklet onto A3 paper. However, there is not a booklet finisher accessory available for this model to automatically create the booklets.

Originally ordered the N version online but Printerland pointed out the obvious benefits of buying the DN version instead which gave us double sided printing. The delivery was quick and setup no hassle. Initial impressions were of a well built product and that has so far been the case with it being impervious to faults. The print quality is fantastic

Best decision we have made
This printer was a sizeable investment for us but bringing printing in house has paid off for us. The savings are obvious but more than that it is the efficiency it gives you when you print your own media. We no longer have to create a design and send it away wait for a sample to return before giving the green light on a batch print which we again had to wait for. Cutting out the printing by a 3rd party has dramatically increased our productivity and so had it turned out that do our own printing was more expensive it still might have been worth it but the fact its cheaper is a very welcome bonus

How do I place an order for supplies?

Once your PagePack contract is registered, you will get your personal log in details to the Xerox Customer Portal, through which you will be able to place your orders online 24/7. Orders can also be placed over the phone by contacting the Consumable Ordering team. Once the order is in place, you will receive the supplies straight to your delivery address at no extra cost, typically within 48 hours If MeterAssistant is installed you will not be required to provide meter reads at the time of placing your orders, therefore we highly recommend MeterAssistant is installed when the device.
