    What is AirPrint?

    Apple AirPrint allows full colour, top-quality printing from iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads directly from within many Apps available from the Apple App Store.

    To take advantage of AirPrint, your compatible printer must be connected to the same wireless network as your iOS device or Mac computer.

    AirPrint enables users to print wirelessly from within applications on Apple devices to AirPrint Compatible Printers connected to a wireless network. You can use your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to easily print via Airprint without the need to install drivers or configure the printer queue. Just tap 'print' and select your AirPrint compatible printer, and print!....It's that simple.

    What You See is What You Print

    If you can open it on your apple device, chances are you can print it with AirPrint and an AirPrint compatible printer. Airprint works with Safari, Mail, Photos, iWork, PDF's in iBooks and many third-party AirPrint compatible apps available from the app store.

    Third-Party Apps

    There are also a wide variety of third-party apps available to enable wireless printing through Apple devices, even to machines that are not natively AirPrint compatible printers. By sharing a printer installed on an Apple Mac or Windows Pc over a wireless network any printer may be able to take advantage of the AirPrint features. (An additional third-party app may be required to be installed on the local machine)

Printing more

With the Lexmark B2236dw, you can print up to 34 pages every minute, the power of the 1-GHz processor and 256 MB of memory makes this possible. The printer uses Unison Toner cartridges, which deliver high-quality printing and around 6000 pages per cartridge*.

Print and load up to 250 sheets without having to refill the tray or stick to manually feeding in single sheets. Many different sizes of paper can be used in the paper tray, including A6 and legal paper, plus envelopes and other smaller items can also be printed onto using the manual feeder.

Better for the planet

This printer features energy management, meaning that power consumption is kept low whether it’s in use or in sleep mode. You can also recycle the cartridges using Lexmark’s Cartridge Collection Programme.

Q. Do I need a pc or laptop to use this printer. Or can I print from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone?
A. Yes, the Lexmark B2236dw is Mopria certified which means you can print from your Samsung smartphone as long as the printer has been set up onto the same network as your mobile phone.
Q. Is the Lexmark 2236 compatible with an apple computer?
A. The Lexmark B2236dw is not compatible with Mac OS, it supports Windows and Linux operating systems only. Please view our full range of Mac Compatible A4 Mono Laser Printers.
Q. How do I print a copy?
A. Hi Jennifer, The Lexmark B2336dw is a single function printer and is unable to copy. The Lexmark MB2236adwe A4 Mono Multifunction Laser Printer is capable of copy functionality.
Q. Does the printer run on full functionality with full controls available from Mac operating system without Windows? Do I need Windows, for example to download or fit the Driver for the printer?
A. Unfortunately the Lexmark B2236dw only supports Apple products through AirPrint and there are no specified drivers available for Mac operating systems.
Q. Through the manual feed option what is the maximum weight the printer can handle of paper and does this allow for card stock?
A. The Lexmark B2336dw is capable of accepting a maximum paper weight of 200gsm via the multipurpose feeder and 105gsm via the standard tray. The Lexmark B2236dw supports the following media types; Paper Labels, Card Stock, Plain Paper, Envelopes, Refer to the Paper & Specialty Media Guide.
Q. Envelope feed? Print on high quality paper?
A. The Lexmark B2236dw does support envelope printing through the 1 sheet multipurpose feed tray; supported sizes are 10 Envelope, 7 3/4 Envelope, 9 Envelope, A4, A5, B5 Envelope, C5 Envelope, DL Envelope. For best performance, use envelopes that are specifically designed for laser printers and that are made from 90gsm paper or 25% cotton. The printer can handle media up to 200gsm through the multipurpose feeder and 105gsm from the standard tray.
Q. What cartridges does it take? I believe the lexmark 3650 is discontinued but I have cartridges for the 3650 model. Do you stock any model for these cartridges?
A. The Lexmark 3650 is a discontinued model and, unfortunately, there are no current models which use the same consumables. Please see the following page for the Lexmark B2236 Mono Printer Toner Cartridges
Q. our Lexmark printer catridge was empty , after that I was fill ink in the same catridge but it the printer is not given any print it shows replace catridge . my question is any option to reink the catridge after empty or catridge replace ?
