The Epson WorkForce Pro WF 4720DWF is a fast cost effective four in one colour printer for the office. It combines easy to use functionality with high capacity input trays and a high-speed printing engine to provide a powerful office printer that is suitable for both small and medium-sized workgroups.

High-performance 4-in-1 printing for the home or office

The Epson WorkForce Pro WF 4720DWF uses Epson’s PrecisionCore technology which provides industry leading high definition image reproduction at super high speed. PrecisionCore printheads have up to three times more nozzle density than conventional printheads, with each dot printed just 40 microns across. That helps to create sharper text and finer lines, improving the definition on images and removing fuzzy lines from the edge of text.

PrecisionCore printheads are also recognised as one of the fastest inkjet printheads in the world, with each element firing at nearly 50,000 times a second. This helps speed up the printing process, allowing full-colour images to be printed at speeds up to 20ppm and making the WorkForce Pro WF 4720DWF one of the fastest full-colour inkjet printers on the market.

Extremely low running costs

The Epson WorkForce Pro WF 4720DWF uses Epson’s DURABrite Ultra ink which offers great value compared to other inks and is specially formulated to work with the PrecisionCore printhead. DURABrite Ultra ink is available in XL cartridges which allow you to print up to 2,600 black and 1,900 colour pages, assuming 5% page coverage. By using XL cartridges you can save up to 20% compared to using a standard sized cartridge.

Freedom to print from anywhere

The 4720DWF also gives you the freedom to print from anywhere in the office thanks to its Wi-Fi connectivity options. This can be used to connect to the office Wi-Fi network or to print directly to the printer using Wi-Fi Direct from wireless-enabled devices such as laptops and smartphones. Printing via NFC is also available with a simple tap on compatible devices.

Further mobility options are available with Epson’s free mobile app for Android, IOS and Windows 10 mobile devices, including email print which gives you the freedom to print images to your network printer from almost any location in the world.

A. Whilst the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4720DWF can handle a maximum paper weight of 256gsm, this is limited to Epson branded papers only; card is not a supported media type on this model, or any other comparable Epson alternative unfortunately. The printer does offer double sided printing but is limited to A4 plain paper.

Q. Can this print address labels?

A. Yes, the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4720DWF supports printing onto labels.

A. This is a fast and cost effective multifunction inkjet printer with a recommended maximum print volume up to 1,500 pages per month, although it can handle up to 25,000 pages a month. As the term 'bulk printing' is subjective, it would be advisable to discuss your requirements in more detail with a member of our printer team who can be reached on 0800 840 1992.

Q. Would the cartridges fit from my Epson wf 3640 please?

A. Unfortunately the Epson WorkForce WF-3640 uses Epson 27 and 27XL ink cartridges whereas the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4720DWF uses Epson 35 and 35XL ink cartridges.

Q. Can this machine print on acetate?

A. Unfortunately the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4720DWF does not support transparencies such as acetate. It is able to handle the following media types: Plain, Copy, Letterhead, Recycled, Coloured, Preprinted, Envelopes, Inkjet, Card Stock and Glossy media.

WILL SHOP AGAIN WITH PRINTERLAND

This is the first time I have used Printerland, and will do so again. Delivery was early (8am) on the day following the order. The product is working well. We have used Epson printers for the last 20 years, and although the current trend seems to be to reduce features, this model Workforce WF-4720, has most of the features we need, especially the USB port on the front face of the machine. The print quality is very fine and sharp, although colour copying struggles to represent fabric samples in either texture or accurate colour. Printerland's website is very user-friendly before purchase, and there are knowledgeable and friendly and helpful staff at the end of the phone, if you wish to raise queries. I can heartily recommend Printerland.

Great Service and Great Product

The service I received when I telephoned about changing my printer was excellent. The Salesperson was extremely helpful and the printer was delivered on the date promised. The printer itself was very easy to set up and within minutes I had it connected wirelessly to my home network. I had a heavy workload ready for to print and it manged 750 pages of print on heavy card with no issue at all. The ink usage over this print run was almost exactly as described in the specification. In summary, quality service and a quality printer and I would have no hesitation in recommending Printerland to friends and colleagues.

Printer for my small business

Very easy to setup, connect to wifi and several devices ,including mobile phones, and away you go! Its movable touch screen makes operating it a doddle. Easy to use features including scanning and copying. It prints quickly and quietly, what more could you ask for? Ink cartridges are much more reasonably priced compared to other brands too, which is a bonus!
