Hi. I'm about to order the Epson Expression Photo HD XP - 1500 but need to ask several questions (Hope you don't mind)
1) My laptop has no disc drive, can I download the printer installation by means of Epson download on line?
2) Although this printer seems to be specifically for photography - I will be using it for graphic downloads (using 300 gsm or less) will this printer be suitable for me? (I need good quality prints)
3) Can I change from double sided printing to single sided (I don't have to need for double sided)
4) Can I mix Epson and compatible inks i.e. 3 x Epson and 3 compatible ink?
5) Is a maintenance box supplied or do I have to buy when ordering the printer.
Sorry to ask so many questions but I'm currently using an Epson ET-2600 and although it's great for everyday use the print isn't brilliant (I intend to still use this for general work)

Yes, you can change from double sided printing to single sided in the print driver settings.
At Printerland we only stock genuine manufacturer-approved cartridges since using compatibles can cause untimely ink and toner leakages, poor print quality and even cause the printer to break down entirely. Since using compatibles usually voids the manufacturer warranty, we highly recommend using only genuine cartridges.

Unfortunately there is not a continuous ink system or ink savings plan with the Epson Expression Photo HD XP-15000. However, there are various Epson EcoTank printers such as the Epson EcoTank ET-2711 which are now included in a 2 year unlimited printing bundle.
