How can they sell this?

I have a laser brother printer which is amazing but does't have a scanner function. I thought that it would be great to get an AIO machine. Got this epson machine. Well I must say I am not impressed but rather dissapointed. The goods It looks nice. The bads Scanner speed is from last century very very slow eating sheets etc... the software will work every second time or will close with an error. Network connection doesn't work all the time usb connection is with problems too you have to reset the printer to make it work. Printer quality is questionable if you print with standard settings the quality is lower than standard. Printing on high qulity settings is very slow and with bleeds of pigment at the end. Photo printing is not true color. On some glossy epson paper it leaves traces of paint which again is not acceptable. If you want to paint on thick paper again problems.

Economical Printer

The printer is fairly fast when printing both black and white as well as colour. There is wifi as well as Ethernet connectivity. The best part of the Ecotank series printers is that it uses bottles of ink instead of normal cartridges. You get alot more value for money which also means the cost per page dramatically reduces

Epson 5170

Bought this printer for my home office. Really pleased with the functionality. Worked straight out of the box with minimal set-up. Super easy ordering process. I needed to split the payment across two cards but this was no problem. Arrived next day as they said it would. I would recommend this printer and the great service received from Printerland.

Epson ET-5170

Ordered the 5150 I received the ET-5170 as an upgrade. It was exceptionally easy to set up as long as you follow the instructions as there are plenty of videos and paper instructions from Epson. Filling and priming took a while made easier by the fact that the ink stops coming out when the tank is full. Also the bottles are keyed to prevent misfilling. Slightly noisier than the ET-2550 being replaced but a smaller footprint. Printerland were fantastic during the process 5 mins after the order they called to a. Tell me about the upgrade b. To remind me of all the offers which I need to claim for and c. To confirm the next day free delivery. All in all a great printer from a great company use with confidence
