    What is AirPrint?

    Apple AirPrint allows full colour, top-quality printing from iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads directly from within many Apps available from the Apple App Store.

    To take advantage of AirPrint, your compatible printer must be connected to the same wireless network as your iOS device or Mac computer.

    AirPrint enables users to print wirelessly from within applications on Apple devices to AirPrint Compatible Printers connected to a wireless network. You can use your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to easily print via Airprint without the need to install drivers or configure the printer queue. Just tap 'print' and select your AirPrint compatible printer, and print!....It's that simple.

    What You See is What You Print

    If you can open it on your apple device, chances are you can print it with AirPrint and an AirPrint compatible printer. Airprint works with Safari, Mail, Photos, iWork, PDF's in iBooks and many third-party AirPrint compatible apps available from the app store.

    Third-Party Apps

    There are also a wide variety of third-party apps available to enable wireless printing through Apple devices, even to machines that are not natively AirPrint compatible printers. By sharing a printer installed on an Apple Mac or Windows Pc over a wireless network any printer may be able to take advantage of the AirPrint features. (An additional third-party app may be required to be installed on the local machine)

    *For full AirPrint support, a printer firmware upgrade may be required which is available directly from the relevant manufacturer website.

    Voice Activated Printing with Amazon Alexa

    Once you’ve enabled the 'Printer Skill' from your Amazon Alexa app printing becomes just as easy as talking. You can print various pre-formatted documents such as shopping lists, calendars, puzzles or even colouring pages - and all you need to do is ask!


    How to Print

    Firstly, you’d need to obtain your printers email address to link it to Alexa. This can be located via your printers control panel, or by printing off a Web Services information sheet.

    Now you can enable the Print Skill from your smartphone or tablet using the Alexa App, or you can enable this skill via the Amazon website if you’re using a computer.

    Then all you need to do is enter the email address for you printer, tap finish and start printing.

    You can now ask your Echo or other Alexa device to print straight to your printer:


    “Alexa, ask my Printer to…” and then follow with the content you wish to print. It’s as simple as that.

Q. The Canon MAXIFY MB2755 A4 Colour Multi Inkjet looks ideal for my needs and your price is excellent. Please could you advise which cable I need for printing from a Surface Pro running Windows 10 pro? Thanks!
A. The Canon MAXIFY MB2755 features a USB, Network and a Wireless interface so you could connect it to your Surface Pro via a USB 2.0 cable (if your laptop has this type of interface) or you can set the printer up onto the same wireless network as your Surface Pro and connect wirelessly.
Q. Our printing requirement has fallen so looking at possibly replacing the CLP-775 that you supplied to us with a lower cost inkjet printer. Was looking at Canon MB2755 for low cost and inexpensive consumables but am confused as to the number of paper trays some reviews seem to indicate that there are 2 x 250 trays some say 1 x 500 tray - we do need 2 trays. Also does this machine offer borderless printing? Thanks
A. The Canon MAXIFY MB2755 features 2 x 250 sheet input trays. Unfortunately it is not capable of borderless printing and features the following print margins: Top: 3 mm, Bottom: 5 mm, Left & Right: 3.4 mm.
Q. Hi, What are the cartridge capacities for this printer? I note that it's using a common maxify cartridges. There is no mention about the per cartridge put put in the blurb and does it come with a XL printer cartridge pack? Does it print duplex? Thanksl
A. The Canon MAXIFY MB2755 only uses Canon PGI-1500XL ink cartridges. The page yeild for each cartirdge is as follows: PGI-1500XL Black (1,200 pages), PGI-1500XL Cyan (1,020 pages), PGI-1500XL Magenta (780 pages) and PGI-1500XL Yellow (935 pages). The printer ships with a PGI-1500XL starter pack. It does feature double-sided printing.
Q. Can you confirm automatic duplex scanning please, a review I read said single sided only and Canon website a bit vague
A. Unfortunately the Canon MAXIFY MB2755 only supports single-sided scanning.

Don't buy, Canon have a nasty trick in store for you!
Bought this as it met the spec that we were looking for, having grown a bit tired of the increasing cost of consumables for Epson printers which we normally use. Delivered quickly, all set up fine & worked a treat (although much slower than the comparable Epson,) HOWEVER, 10 months in & the printer comes up with a message stating the the waste ink absorber is full. OK, so bit of a pain I thought, just need to buy a new waste ink unit same as with the Epson ones - although they will print at least twice as much before needing this. Problem is that it doesn't work that way with Canon, you have to send the printer off to their authorised repair center for them to do it - at considerable cost. Neither Canon nor Printerland mention that after a short time you will have to spend almost the cost of the printer to get it printing again! I will never buy Canon again.

Excellent Service from Printerland. Canon Maxify 2755 ordered late Friday pm and delivered mid morning Monday. Thank you Wireless set up was straight forward with being up and running within and hour of delivery, and I am no tech expert! After doing my research the Canon from Printerland came out as the best buy for my needs. Claiming the cash back and free three year warranty was also straight forward.
