Does this printer allow mono printing if a colour cartridge/toner runs out

Unfortunately the Xerox WorkCentre 6027 is not able to continue printing in mono if any of the colour toners are completely empty. This is because the printer will still use a small amount of colour toner when printing in mono to ensure the print quality is as high as possible.

Can you print on thin paper like freezer paper and the like for transfer work?

The Xerox WorkCentre 6027 can handle the following media types: Plain, Bond, Lightweight Card Stock, Lightweight Glossy Card Stock, Envelopes, Labels, Recycled, Plain-Reloaded, Bond Reloaded,
Lightweight Card Stock Reloaded, Lightweight Glossy Card Stock Reloaded and Recycled-Reloaded. It can also handle media between 60gsm to 163gsm.

The Xerox WorkCentre 6027 (6027V_NI) supports manual duplex printing. This means that the user would have to turn the paper manually in order to print double sided pages.

We have been looking at buying this model. What's the difference between the Xerox 6027 and the 6025? Is it just the fact it's wireless?

There are quite a few differences between the Xerox 6027 and the 6025. Firstly, the Xerox 6025 can do only 10ppm Colour Print and 12ppm Mono Print in comparison to 18ppm Colour/Mono Print on the Xerox 6027. Also, the Xerox 6027 can have the first page out in 13 seconds whereas the Xerox 6025 can in 19 seconds.Added to this, the Xerox 6027 comes with a 4.3" LCD Colour Touchscreen whereas the Xerox 6025 does not. The Xerox 6027 has a 15 sheet Automatic Document Feeder whereas the Xerox 6025 has a 10 Sheet Bypass Tray.The Xerox 6027 also has the ability to fax and has network whereas the Xerox 6025 does not.
