    What is AirPrint?

    Apple AirPrint allows full colour, top-quality printing from iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads directly from within many Apps available from the Apple App Store.

    To take advantage of AirPrint, your compatible printer must be connected to the same wireless network as your iOS device or Mac computer.

    AirPrint enables users to print wirelessly from within applications on Apple devices to AirPrint Compatible Printers connected to a wireless network. You can use your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to easily print via Airprint without the need to install drivers or configure the printer queue. Just tap 'print' and select your AirPrint compatible printer, and print!....It's that simple.

    What You See is What You Print

    If you can open it on your apple device, chances are you can print it with AirPrint and an AirPrint compatible printer. Airprint works with Safari, Mail, Photos, iWork, PDF's in iBooks and many third-party AirPrint compatible apps available from the app store.

    There are also a wide variety of third-party apps available to enable wireless printing through Apple devices, even to machines that are not natively AirPrint compatible printers. The Xerox VersaLink C9000DT A3 Colour Laser Printer is ideal for busy offices and demanding environments. Q. Hello. Do you need a wireless adapter to use wireless on this printer or mobile printing? If so what one would be compatible with this printer? Thanks
A. Yes, as the Xerox VersaLink C9000DT doesn't have inbuilt wifi you would need to purchase the WiFi kit to enable wireless printing and mobile printing; please see the following page for the Xerox Wireless Network Adapter (Wi-Fi Kit). If this is a printer you haven't yet purchased, it is available to buy as a Wireless Bundle which includes the relevant adapter.
Q. Hi. Will this printer print on textured card like linen or pearlescent card?
A. The Xerox C9000DT is capable of printing on textured card like linen or pearlescent card up to a maximum density of 350gsm via the bypass tray.

A. Hi, the Xerox VersaLink C9000DT bypass tray will take a maximum of 350gsm banner paper. The maximum media weight for printing via tray 1 or 2 is 300gsm.

Better than Expected
After using a Xerox DC 250 for many years I was a little apprehensive about going down market so to speak. I needn't have worried. This machine does the modest job I need it to do. It works well and with no fuss. After 12 000 plus impressions my only gripe is the waste bottle. The machine said it was full whereas it was only half full. And then there's the ultra high price of the waste bottle It's early days but my impression is that toner economy is quite good. Obviously this machine can't compete with the versatility of higher end machines but then there is a vast difference in price. Over all it's excellent value for money.
