    What is AirPrint?

    Apple AirPrint allows full colour, top-quality printing from iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads directly from within many Apps available from the Apple App Store.

    To take advantage of AirPrint, your compatible printer must be connected to the same wireless network as your iOS device or Mac computer.

    AirPrint enables users to print wirelessly from within applications on Apple devices to AirPrint Compatible Printers connected to a wireless network. You can use your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to easily print via Airprint without the need to install drivers or configure the printer queue. Just tap 'print' and select your AirPrint compatible printer, and print!....It's that simple.

    What You See is What You Print

    If you can open it on your apple device, chances are you can print it with AirPrint and an AirPrint compatible printer. Airprint works with Safari, Mail, Photos, iWork, PDF's in iBooks and many third-party AirPrint compatible apps available from the app store.

    Third-Party Apps

    There are also a wide variety of third-party apps available to enable wireless printing through Apple devices, even to machines that are not natively AirPrint compatible printers. By sharing a printer installed on an Apple Mac or Windows Pc over a wireless network any printer may be able to take advantage of the AirPrint features. (An additional third-party app may be required to be installed on the local machine)

A. The VersaLink C8000DT is capable of printing on Xerox Premium NeverTear media up to a maximum paper weight of 300gsm.
Q. Does it use white tonner
A.

The Xerox VersaLink C8000DT does not use white toner as it is a CMYK laser printer. However, the Xerox VersaLink C8000W is the white toner version of this model, which uses CMYW toner cartridges instead.

Yes the Xerox VersaLink C8000DT is able to handle media weights up to 300gsm and supports custom media sizes from 88.9 x 98.4 mm to 320 x 482.6 mm.
Q. Does this printer print onto Vellum paper?
A. Unfortunately The Xerox VersaLink C8000DT doesn't support vellum media types. The following media types are supported by this printer: Plain Paper, Bond, Cardstock, Envelopes, Glossy Cardstock, Hole Punched, Labels, Heavyweight Cardstock, Heavyweight Glossy Cardstock, Letterhead, Lightweight Cardstock, Lightweight Glossy Cardstock, Pre-Printed and Recycled
Q. Does thicker card stock have to go on the bypass tray? Or can it cope with thicker card from the trays?
A. The Xerox VersaLink C8000DT supports cardstock up to 300gsm via the bypass tray and both input trays.
Q. does this printer print onto transparency film?
A. Unfortunately the Xerox C8000 series cannot print onto transparency film. If this is a function you require have a look at the OKI C844 series printer which can print onto transparency film.

A. The Xerox VersaLink C8000DT is a single function printer. This model is capable of printing only.

Everything was perfect
Excellent service and advice from Printerland and a printer to match. The Xerox C8000 A3 printer is the perfect printer to bridge the gap between normal office printing with the added bonus of being able to print professional quality when required. Furthermore the printer comes with 2 big trays as standard so we can store different media in each tray without having to constantly swap between the two. We bought an extra set of toner when buying the printer as the pricing was better than we could find elsewhere and they last a long time. Everything with the printer and purchase was perfect.
