    What is AirPrint?

    Apple AirPrint allows full colour, top-quality printing from iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads directly from within many Apps available from the Apple App Store.

    To take advantage of AirPrint, your compatible printer must be connected to the same wireless network as your iOS device or Mac computer.

    AirPrint enables users to print wirelessly from within applications on Apple devices to AirPrint Compatible Printers connected to a wireless network. You can use your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to easily print via Airprint without the need to install drivers or configure the printer queue. Just tap 'print' and select your AirPrint compatible printer, and print!....It's that simple.

    What You See is What You Print

    If you can open it on your apple device, chances are you can print it with AirPrint and an AirPrint compatible printer. Airprint works with Safari, Mail, Photos, iWork, PDF's in iBooks and many third-party AirPrint compatible apps available from the app store.

    Once you’ve enabled the 'Printer Skill' from your Amazon Alexa app printing becomes just as easy as talking. You can print various pre-formatted documents such as shopping lists, calendars, puzzles or even colouring pages - and all you need to do is ask!


    How to Print

    Firstly, you’d need to obtain your printers email address to link it to Alexa. This can be located via your printers control panel, or by printing off a Web Services information sheet.

    Now you can enable the Print Skill from your smartphone or tablet using the Alexa App, or you can enable this skill via the Amazon website if you’re using a computer.

    Then all you need to do is enter the email address for you printer, tap finish and start printing.

    You can now ask your Echo or other Alexa device to print straight to your printer:


    “Alexa, ask my Printer to…” and then follow with the content you wish to print. It’s as simple as that.

A. Yes, the HP Officejet Pro 6970 features a 35 sheet, 2-sided automatic document feeder for scanning and copying multi-page documents.

A. The HP Officejet Pro 6970 will not print directly on to CDs but you may be able to find glossy media with templates for your word-processing software which can be used instead.
Q. Are any additional cables required for this printer?
A. The Officejet Pro 6970 includes a USB cable and Ethernet(network) cable in the box so shouldn't need any other cables, though longer lengths are available for purchase during the checkout if you require.
