Once the JetDirect 3000w NFC/Wireless Direct Accessory is connected to your printer and both NFC and wireless direct settings on your printer have been turned on, you can obtain the Wireless Direct Name (SSID) and password using the control panel. The Service Set Identifier (SSID), or Wireless Direct Name, is the name of the printers network that will be listed in the Wi-Fi list of available connections on your laptop, phone, or tablet.
