The fi-7280 is a fast and reliable scanner which can handle a large workload with complete autonomy. The Ultrasonic Double-feed detection sensor identifies multi-feed situations promptly and provides real-time inventory tracking.
Speed without compromising reliability
The Fujitsu fi-7280 can scan up to 160 images per minute in grayscale, colour, and monochrome. Skew technology simplifies paper feeding. The ADF (automatic document feeder) can handle up to 80 pages.
The fi-7280 will also scan hard and embossed cards up to 1.4mm thick and will capture items like sticky notes, receipts, and labels.
Automatic image cleanup with PaperStream
As is standard with Fujitsu’s fi Series lineup, the fi-7280 comes with PaperStream, the cutting edge of image processing. Compatible out of the box with all TWAIN applications, PaperStream features an Assisted Scan function which takes the hassle out of driver setup. An accessible interface allows users to achieve the right look through visual selection, and real-time updating tracks modifications on the fly, so no rescans necessary.
PaperStream will automatically enhance documents, giving clarity to blurry characters and uniformity to varied colour backgrounds, for better reproduction and reduced file size.
Automate repetitive tasks
Bundled with Fujitsu’s upper range of scanners, PaperStream Capture adds a simple, visual thumbnail and profile system to cut down on training time and to cover the most typical requirements with the press of one button. For more complex tasks, a wizard guides the user through the creation of new profiles. An ad-hoc scan function covers one-time operations.
For absolute peace of mind, administrators can lock the device to one profile.
Centralised administration
The fi-7280 gives system admins and office support the tools to handle any issue. Devices can be monitored remotely or via an agent or console. Inventory changes are monitored in real-time. Central control of driver updates allows a delay, stagger, or simultaneous release to suit workflow.
