With the ability to print on glossy, matte and fine art paper, you can print on paper up to 1.3mm in thickness and A3+ in size. To enhance printing on to fine art paper, you can load paper on from the rear, while photographers can enjoy the option of printing on to 2-inch core roll media, enabling the creation of panoramic and single format prints. In order to keep up to pace with a digital world, CD and DVD printing are also supported.

Providing high-gloss photos in a range of life-like colours, this printer boasts UltraChrome HiGloss ink and a seven-colour ink-set with a gloss optimiser. Photo black, matte black, cyan, yellow, magenta, red and orange inks provide a rich range of tones and shades, giving an impressive depth and detail to your prints. Additionally, this printer has the ability to create an ink droplet size that is the smallest of any A3+ photo printer on the market, giving it superior accuracy and quality. Q. Does this printer work with AirPrint?

Q. And what is the smallest size media that the printer can take (i.e. will it take A7 size?) Many thanks

A. The Epson SureColor SC-P400 can handle the following media sizes: A3+, A3, A4, A5, A6, Letter, Letter Legal, Postcard, 9 x 13 cm, 10 x 15 cm, 13 x 18 cm, 13 x 20 cm, 20 x 25 cm, 100 x 148 mm and user defined settings. The smallest media size that this machine can handle is 100 x 148 mm which is slightly smaller than standard A6 sizing, so unfortunately A7 would be too small for this printer to handle.

Q. Hi I see the max gsm this can take is 844gsm but wondered whether there was any paper/card curling or is it a completely flat feed? Many thanks

A. The Epson SureColor SC-P400's front manual feed tray can be used for media with a thickness of 0.7 to 1.3 mm. This is a straight feed so the media is fed through the printer without any bending.

Q. Does this come with the roll feeder or is that extra? Thank you

A. Hi, Yes the Epson SureColor SC-P400 comes with a roll feeder as standard.

Q. Are these inks pigment-based, Yes or No? I notice you evaded this question last time but, as I need a printer for finie art on matte media, it matters.

A. Yes, all seven ink cartridges used in the Epson SureColor SC-P400's are pigment-based.

Q. Hello, please can you tell me what comes in the box with the printer? I am not sure if I will need additional cables.

A. The Epson SureColor SC-P400 comes with a standard set of inks, a power cable, setup guide, user guide and documentation. Unfortunately it does not come with any extra cables.

Q. Hi are the inks dye or pigment ... thanks in advance

A. The Epson SureColor SC-P400 uses a seven-colour pigment based ink-set. There is also the option to use a Gloss Optimiser to further enhance the print outs with a gloss coating.

Q. Hi there, does this printer come with ink?

A. Yes, the Epson SureColor SC-P400 comes with a full set of 14ml ink cartridges.

Excellent service!

Outstanding service all the way and a great price! Order arrived next day, which was especially impressive during COVID 19 outbreak. The printer itself seems great so far, though still early days but very happy with print quality. I print mostly graphic art and greeting cards and this prints solid blocks of colour well and with archival quality. Ink usage may prove expensive but will hopefully be worth it for printing/selling professional prints.

Exactly as on the Tin

I knew the printer I wanted, but wanted the best price. I chose Printerland based on price (I would usually use the manufacturers own store) and found that they were cheaper even allowing for a 10% manufacturers discount. Ordered printer on Friday, delivered on Monday exactly as promised. Free delivery too (to be fair that's also the case with the Manufacturer - but they are a lot slower). Inks are dearer though, so I'll get them elsewhere - you can't have everything! Great service, faultless transaction - many thanks Printerland!
