I have printer machine hl-l 8250 Cnt exactly in picture, I got a problem with drum , they show on machine is “ replace drum “ I did buy new drum and put in but they still said that, please help me what I need to do, last time I did change 1 drum but not problem they work straightaway when I put new drum in but this time I don’t know we need set up anything, please help me

Hi, When you replace the drum unit with a new one, you must reset the drum counter. This can be done by completing the following steps: Press the Up or Down arrow key (+ or -) to choose Machine Info and then press OK. Once completed, press the Up or Down arrow key to choose the Reset Parts Life option and then press OK. Select Drum Unit and read the message which appears. Finally, press the Up arrow key to reset the drum counter. For further technical assistance, you can call Brother's Technical Support Line on 08444 999 444 and a member of their team will help resolve this issue.

I currently have a brother HL 4140 Printer, which I believe has been discontinued and replaced with Brother HL-L8250 if I purchase the new printer will it still be compatable with the ink cartridges from my old printer? the Old printer had cartridges TN325 and the new printer has cartridges TN326?

Unfortunately, the Brother HL 4140 Printer does not have inks that are compatible with the replacement model HL-L2850.

What is the difference, please, between Airprint ans wireless capability in a colour printer?

AirPrint is a native application within Apple products such as the iPhone or iPad and lets you print directly to the printer on your wireless network from these devices. Generic wireless functionality simply allows you to connect to your wireless router without the need of a permanent cable between a laptop, PC or Mac computer etc.

Borderless printing is unfortunately not a compatible feature that is available with the Brother HL-L8250CDN.

If you can open it on your apple device, chances are you can print it with AirPrint and an AirPrint compatible printer. Airprint works with Safari, Mail, Photos, iWork, PDF's in iBooks and many third-party AirPrint compatible apps available from the app store.
