A compact home office fax with built-in copy/printer

The Sharp UX-345L fax machine comes with a built in copy/printer which can print on standard copy paper, allowing this versatile little device to be used as a cost effective 3-in-1 small office printer. Print costs are also kept down for small print jobs by using Sharp thermal rolls, these are similar to a traditional printer ribbons but are easier to replace and can print up to 100 high quality pages from a single roll.

Sharp thermal image technology was developed by Sharp to provide low cost, high quality printing for small print runs of less than 5 pages. That makes this technology ideal for small offices, but to get the best out of it you need to use genuine Sharp thermal rolls. Many private label ribbons and rolls are manufactured from cheap thin material which provides inferior print quality and easily breaks causing your printer to jam.

Private label cartridges are also more detrimental to the environment. A recent study showed that just 15% of spent printer cartridges get recycled in the UK, with the remainder ending up in landfill sites. This is surprising, because most printer manufacturers provide free recycling services for spent cartridges these days, so the vast majority of these cartridges are from private label manufacturers which don’t provide recycling services. In today’s environmentally conscious world it is important that plastic is disposed of properly, so take advantage of Sharp’s free recycling service by purchasing genuine Sharp printer consumables.
