Replacing your cartridge
To replace the cartridge, turn your printer on, load paper into the paper tray and open the cartridge door. The carriage containing the cartridges will move into the middle. Wait a few seconds until the printer is no longer moving or making noise and press down on the cartridge to pull it out.
Once your replacement HP cartridge is unpackaged, pull the orange tab while taking care not to touch the copper contacts or the nozzles, as this may result in damage. With the nozzle at the front, slide the new cartridge into place (black on the left and colour on the right) and close the access door. After 30 seconds, the alignment page will be automatically printed.
