The WF-8090 achieves this with the use of extra large ink cartridges which can print up to 10,000 pages from a single cartridge, giving them the same volume as a high-yield toner cartridge but costing up to 25% less. These innovative cartridges also lower the environmental impact of your printing, because ink uses less environmental resources to manufacture (making them cheaper) and they require less packaging to ship.
Only use Epson original ink to guarantee performance and reliability
Because your Epson Workforce Pro WF-8090 uses unique XXL ink cartridges, we only recommend using Epson original ink in your printer. Epson DURABrite Pro ink is formulated to behave like print toner, improving the clarity of text, while drying quickly.
Because of this, the use of aftermarket ink in your printer can result in smudging and decreased image clarity. Refill ink is also significantly thicker than Epson original ink which can significantly reduce page yields and cause blocking of the print head. This increases the risk of damage to your printer and may invalidate its warranty.
Epson original cartridges are also better for the environment. Epson DURABrite Pro ink uses less environmentally damaging compounds than many aftermarket inks or refills.
