OKI Printing Solutions (OKI) has announced it is providing support to the Business Programme, run by youth charity, The Prince’s Trust.
The Prince’s Trust Business Programme provides low-interest loans and mentoring support to help young people start-up in business.
It has set up more than 70,000 young people in business since 1983, with 58 per cent of businesses still trading into their third year.
The Prince’s Trust helps change young lives, giving disadvantaged young people the skills and confidence to get into work, education or training.
Ewa Johnson, marketing director, OKI Printing Solutions, says “We were attracted to working with The Prince’s Trust because it is one of the few
charities that focuses on driving economic and business growth in the UK by sponsoring young entrepreneurship and creativity.
“We share this vision,” adds Johnson. “And our involvement with The Prince’s Trust underlines our role not only as a leading B2B brand, but as
one that genuinely believes that its proposition better enables businesses to be cost effective and creative in targeting new streams of revenue by
innovating printed communications. We believe strongly that investment in future business talent is key and therefore are committed to supporting
young businesses in the UK through strategic partnerships.”
Julian Barrell, director of fundraising, The Prince’s Trust, said: “We are delighted that OKI is helping us support the businesses of the future through our business programme.
