For consumer purchases, we are pleased to offer the chance to recycle your old printer when purchasing a new item from us.
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge.
A return address can be provided upon request, and we also offer a collection service starting from £20 plus VAT. To obtain an accurate quote for the collection of your old device, please send us your Printerland order number, along with the make and model of your old printer to [email protected]
You can also discuss recycling your old printer when making your purchase over the phone, please speak to one of our experts for details on how to dispose of your WEEE item with us.
To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed‐out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.
For business customers, should you have any questions on how to recycle your old printer, please do not hesitate to email us at [email protected], where we will be happy to help.
