    What is AirPrint?

    Apple AirPrint allows full colour, top-quality printing from iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads directly from within many Apps available from the Apple App Store.

    To take advantage of AirPrint, your compatible printer must be connected to the same wireless network as your iOS device or Mac computer.

    AirPrint enables users to print wirelessly from within applications on Apple devices to AirPrint Compatible Printers connected to a wireless network. You can use your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to easily print via Airprint without the need to install drivers or configure the printer queue. Just tap 'print' and select your AirPrint compatible printer, and print!....It's that simple.

    What You See is What You Print

    If you can open it on your apple device, chances are you can print it with AirPrint and an AirPrint compatible printer. Airprint works with Safari, Mail, Photos, iWork, PDF's in iBooks and many third-party AirPrint compatible apps available from the app store.

    Third-Party Apps

    There are also a wide variety of third-party apps available to enable wireless printing through Apple devices, even to machines that are not natively AirPrint compatible printers. By sharing a printer installed on an Apple Mac or Windows Pc over a wireless network any printer may be able to take advantage of the AirPrint features. (An additional third-party app may be required to be installed on the local machine)

Q. Does this printer offer edge to edge printing right to the end? And can I manually feed cardstock into the rear?
A. Unfortunately the Xerox VersaLink C7000N does not support borderless or edge-to-edge printing. However, it does feature a bypass tray which sends media through the printer in a straight path.
Q. Does the Xerox VersaLink C7000N A3 Colour LED Laser Printer have wi-fi facilities?
A. The Xerox VersaLink C7000N only supports USB, Network & NFC interface types as standard. We do however sell the Xerox VersaLink C7000N Wireless Bundle which comes with the Xerox Wireless Network Adapter to enable wireless capability.
Q. Can you scan two separate A4 pages and have them print on a single A3 sheet of paper?
A. Unfortunately, the Xerox VersaLink C7000n does not feature a scanning facility for this purpose. But you would be able to print 2 A4 pages onto an A3 page using the page setup option within the driver settings.
Q. Can you scan and email from the printer
A. The Xerox VersaLink C7000N is a single function A3 laser printer, so unfortunately it can not scan, copy or fax. We would recommend the Xerox VersaLink C7020DN as this model is similar in specification but also has the ability to scan (including Scan to Email) and copy.

Great...but there is a sting in the tail
The printer is superb. Copies are faithful to screen image and super quality. The "but" must be the toner usage and cost. I have used the machine heavily since I got it on fairly dense graphics on A3 paper. The graphics are mostly Black, with the odd small splash of colour. According to the usage stats I will run out of all toner after 490 A3 copies. So around £1 per print! It makes sense to just buy another new printer when the toner runs out - as the cost of a set of low cal toner cartridges costs about the same as the new printer with its cartridges . crazy!..............I still like it though
Printerland Response: Thanks for your review Gerard. The Xerox C7000 can achieve running costs as low as 1.3p per mono page or 7.8p per page in colour at the time of writing. Heavy use of graphics will use an increased amount of toner as you are seeing. We'd recommend looking at the high capacity toner pack which provides much more colour toner to work with and will help reduce your running costs further. This also has the added benefit of extending your printer warranty for 12 months which I hope will give you peace of mind so you won't need to worry about downtime.

Great Printer
This printer has been great for our office. The display is easy to use and the print quality is excellent for the value. My only issue with this printer is the lack of trays. For an extra few trays the cost is almost the same as the printer itself. Great for any small business.
