    What is AirPrint?

    Apple AirPrint allows full colour, top-quality printing from iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads directly from within many Apps available from the Apple App Store.

    To take advantage of AirPrint, your compatible printer must be connected to the same wireless network as your iOS device or Mac computer.

    AirPrint enables users to print wirelessly from within applications on Apple devices to AirPrint Compatible Printers connected to a wireless network. You can use your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to easily print via Airprint without the need to install drivers or configure the printer queue. Just tap 'print' and select your AirPrint compatible printer, and print!....It's that simple.

    What You See is What You Print

    If you can open it on your apple device, chances are you can print it with AirPrint and an AirPrint compatible printer. Airprint works with Safari, Mail, Photos, iWork, PDF's in iBooks and many third-party AirPrint compatible apps available from the app store.

    Third-Party Apps

    There are also a wide variety of third-party apps available to enable wireless printing through Apple devices, even to machines that are not natively AirPrint compatible printers. By sharing a printer installed on an Apple Mac or Windows Pc over a wireless network any printer may be able to take advantage of the AirPrint features. (An additional third-party app may be required to be installed on the local machine)

The Xerox AltaLink C8100 family of devices do more than merely print, and they are ideal for the busy office that has to deal with a lot of printing, scanning and copying work. With the Xerox AltaLink C8130T, you will find that your document workflows become automated, whilst at the same time being protected from harm by its all-embracing security systems and features. This really is the printer for the busy 21st-century office.

Handles jobs both big and small

No matter what size of task you have to complete, the AltaLink C8130T can do it, thanks to Xerox’s ever-expanding collection of apps available in the Xerox App Gallery. All of these apps have been designed to make your scanning, copying and printing jobs as easy and as fast as possible. The device can also collate and bind, as well as having automatic double-sided printing.

Intuitive interface and connectivity

Thanks to its tablet-style touch screen that can store and remember individual user settings, the need to keep pressing multiple buttons on different menus is a thing of the past. Most tasks can be completed at the single touch of a button, and with both network and mobile connectivity, it has never been easier to print on the move.

The technical bit

The Xerox AltaLink C8130T has a first printout speed as fast as 4.2 seconds for black and white and as fast as 5.7 seconds for colour, with a print speed of up to 30ppm for both types of printing. Under the hood, there is a 4GB RAM, a Quad Core 1.91GHz processor and a 128GB HDD.

Paper capacity is provided in four trays and a bypass tray, with all four trays capable of holding 520 sheets each and the bypass tray a further 100. Whereas the max print resolution of up to 1,200 x 2,400 dpi will give you crisp clear text and crystal-clear images.

PagePack provides a fixed cost-per-page. In an unmanaged environment, every document printed uses a variable amount of ink or toner. You pay a different price for every print. Service calls are unpredictable and so are the charges. With PagePack all your variable expenses are consolidated. Customers pay a fixed cost-per-page that reduces your overall expenditures.

How can PagePack improve my productivity?

PagePack also saves on hidden costs, such as staff resources and prevent shortages of consumables, by simplifying ordering and vendor management. With PagePack there's no need to keep an inventory of consumables on hand. You order the consumables whenever any device requires more.

All consumables, supplies and service are provided by Xerox, and if you required hands on the repair, you will get an engineer onsite within the next business day, all engineers are highly trained and certified by Xerox

Who provides the supplies?

Supplies are provided directly from Xerox, thus ensuring stock availability, quality of service and genuine goods.

How do I place an order for supplies?

Once your PagePack contract is registered, you will get your personal log in details to the Xerox Customer Portal, through which you will be able to place your orders online 24/7. Orders can also be placed over the phone by contacting the Consumable Ordering team. Once the order is in place, you will receive the supplies straight to your delivery address at no extra cost, typically within 48 hours If MeterAssistant is installed you will not be required to provide meter reads at the time of placing your orders, therefore we highly recommend MeterAssistant is installed when the device.
