Q.
Can the printer work with plain paper up to 140gsm?
A.
Hi Andrew,
The Epson WorkForce WF-7710DWF can print on media up to a maximum thickness of 256gsm.
Kind Regards
Q.
Can you enlarge and reduce copies with this machine ?
A.
The Epson WorkForce WF-7710dwf can reduce/enlarge copies within a range of 25 to 400%.
Q.
I have been looking at the spec for the Epson WF7710DWF.
Under media handling the maximum paper weight given is 256gsm.
In answer to a question relating to this product it says that 250gsm cardstock is NOT media supported. I need to be able to print on this weight of card.
Is there an Epson product with the same features that can do this?
A.
Whilst the Epson WorkForce WF-7710DWF can accept up to a maximum paper weight of 256gsm, this is limited to Epson branded premium glossy photo paper; card stock is not a supported media type on this model, not any other Epson equivalent. For advice on models that would be suitable please contact our printer team on 0800 840 1992.
Q.
Hi just wondering if this printer does t shirt prints ? Or any way it can be used to print designs on t Shirt
A.
Whilst we know customers have had success using heat transfer papers with the WF-7710DWF for t-shirt printing, we aren't able to guarantee performance on this model as it is outside of the printers intended purpose. Unfortunately, there are no WorkForce printers which specifically support this use, the closest match would be the Epson EcoTank ET-7750 which supports the Epson Iron-on Transfer Paper.
Q.
I have an A3 Epson Stylus Photo 1400 printer which is creating errors and I would like to replace it to produce equal quality photographs/artwork.
Does this printer allow colour management eg: from (RGB) Photoshop Elements software and can I use Claria Photographic ink cartridges?
A.
The Epson WorkForce WF-7710DWF does offer some colour management but does not use the Claria Photographic Ink. Have a look at the Epson Expression Photo HD XP-15000 A3+ Colour Inkjet Printer which uses the Claria Photo HD ink. It also has more color management options as standard and is able to take color handling from Photoshop Elements.
Q.
Is this a good printer for rice paper.
Are ink cartridge reasonably priced?
Q.
Just ordered this printer on the basis of duplex scanning via the ADF as confirmed through an answer to my question. However looking at an earlier question, one answer states that this model has only a simplex scanner and cannot scan double sided A4. Which is correct?
A.
Whilst I can't see the previous question you are referring to I can reassure you that the Epson WorkForce WF-7710DWF does offer duplex scanning from the ADF; this is also true for copying and faxing.
