Last Updated on January 15, 2010 by Christian Ralph
Ricoh UK will be showcasing its latest environmentally efficient document management offerings at BETT 2010, the world’s largest annual educational technology event starting on Wednesday 13th January.
Optimising the print environment enables schools to make significant efficiency gains in terms of resources and costs, ultimately allowing teachers to spend more time with pupils. Ricoh UK has a number of solutions tailored to meeting the needs of educational establishments.
Ricoh UK will be situated at stand L60 and consultants will be on hand to demonstrate a range of products and services, such as the eCopy SIMS connector, which enables teachers to scan hard copy documents directly from a multifunctional printer so it appears as a soft copy document on their school’s central SIMS database. Ricoh Supplies will also be showcasing its office consumables and supplies range at stand N61.
By visiting the Ricoh UK stand attendees may also enter a prize draw to win a free environmental consultation for their organisation. These in-depth face-to-face audits allow for:
· The identification of areas of inefficiency in document usage
· The reduction of environmental impact by, on average, 10 – 30%
· The reduction of energy wastage and therefore energy costs
