Unfortunately both the Xerox Phaser 6020 and the 6022 do not feature a bypass tray. They both include a 150 sheet paper tray which can handle custom sizes from 76 x 127 mm to 216 x 356 mm. We would suggest taking a look at the Xerox WorkCentre 6515DNI as this multifunction printer features a 50 sheet bypass tray as well as a 250 sheet input tray.

Unfortunately the Xerox Phaser 6020 does not support duplex printing as standard. However, you would be able to print on both sides by manually turning the paper.

Unfortunately the Xerox Phaser 6020 (6020V_BI) is no longer available and has been replaced by the Xerox Phaser 6510N A4 Colour Laser Printer. The Xerox 6515N is capable of printing in mono only even if the printer is out of colour toner.

How fade proof are prints from Xerox 6020 using genuine Xerox toner cartridges?

The prints will fade over time depending on how they are stored, however EA toner is stable and has great fade resistance.

is it possible to set this printer up with a downloadable driver rather than CD? This is to be used with a Macbook air which don't have a disk drive.

Yes, all current drivers for Xerox printers including the Phaser 6020 are available for direct download from Xerox's website.
