The Lexmark CX510 will scan to PDF. A preview of the first page is available but only when a formatted, working printer hard disk is installed.

This model allows you to check ink levels through the display on the front of the printer, simply click 'Status/Supplies' and it will display a error message whenever intervention is needed to continue printing i.e a toner cartridge is running low or is empty.
