Unfortunately the Epson Workforce WF-100W is a single function inkjet printer so it does not include any scanning, copying of faxing features.
You can connect to the printer via a USB cable so you are able to print on-the-go. However, if you wanted to print via a smartphone or tablet this can be done using Apple AirPrint or Google Cloud Print, but both the printer and your mobile device would need to be connected to a wireless network.

Hi, Yes the Epson Workforce WF-100W can be turned on its side when transporting. Epson advise that you do not remove the maintenance box, as this may cause the inks to leak. Also, ensure the inks are left installed, as removing the cartridges can dry out the print head.

Unfortunately, the Epson Workforce WF-100W's USB 2.0 Micro-B interface is only used to charge the printer. It can only connect to mobile devices wirelessly via Epson Connect, Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print.

If you can open it on your apple device, chances are you can print it with AirPrint and an AirPrint compatible printer. Airprint works with Safari, Mail, Photos, iWork, PDF's in iBooks and many third-party AirPrint compatible apps available from the app store.
